Landscape architect changes clear final round

Lawmakers passed a bill May 14 that makes several changes to laws governing professional landscape architects in Nebraska.

LB696, introduced by Lincoln Sen. Jane Raybould, amends the Professional Landscape Architects Act to align licensing requirements with a new national standard adopted in 2022.

The bill passed on a vote of 47-2.
