Petition circulator bill passed

Lawmakers gave final approval March 8 to a bill requiring that petition circulators be 18 years of age or older.

LB759, introduced by Lincoln Sen. Bill Avery, also removes a requirement that a circulator be an elector of the state.

The bill passed 41-2.
