Legislature to meet in special session Nov. 1

Gov. Dave Heineman issued a proclamation Oct. 25 calling the Legislature into special session to consider legislation relating to oil pipelines.

Senators will convene Nov. 1 at 2 p.m. for bill introduction.

Public hearings on the legislation introduced will begin Nov. 7. The session is expected to last at least two weeks.
