On the final day of bill introduction, senators introduced 57 bills.

Sen. Robert Clements turns in a resolution on the final day of bill introduction.

These included:

LB1093, sponsored by Fremont Sen. Lynne Walz, which would create the Office of Inspector General of Nebraska Public Health;

LB1094, sponsored by Lincoln Sen. Mike Hilgers, which would provide for financial literacy and entrepreneurship academic content standards;

LB1099, sponsored by Heartwell Sen. John Kuehn, which would adopt the Legislative Ethics Act;

LB1100, sponsored by Bayard Sen. Steve Erdman, which would change the valuation of agricultural land and horticultural land;

LB1103, sponsored by Henderson Sen. Curt Friesen, which would provide a minimum amount of state aid for each school district;

LB1105, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Tony Vargas, which would change the transaction loan period under the Delayed Deposit Services Licensing Act;

LB1111, sponsored by Gering Sen. John Stinner, which would adopt the Fiscal Stress Management Act;

LB1132, sponsored by Lincoln Sen. Patty Pansing Brooks, which would provide a procedure to set aside convictions of victims of sex trafficking and to expunge related records;

LR293CA, sponsored by Lincoln Sen. Anna Wishart, which would amend the state constitution to provide a right to use or consume medical cannabis subject to laws, rules and regulations; and

LR294CA, sponsored by O’Neill Sen. Tyson Larson, which would amend the state constitution to allow the Legislature to authorize any game of chance, lottery or gift enterprise and to provide for distribution of revenue.
