Senators passed a bill March 1 that allows nonresidents to use a state-issued identification card to purchase alcohol.<\/p>\n
To purchase alcohol a customer currently must provide one of the following accepted forms of identification:
\n\u2022 a valid driver\u2019s or operator\u2019s license;
\n\u2022 a military identification card;
\n\u2022 an alien registration card;
\n\u2022 a passport; or
\n\u2022 a Nebraska state identification card.<\/p>\n
LB173, introduced by Lincoln Sen. Colby Coash, adds to that list a state identification card from any state.<\/p>\n
