Charlie Janssen, which would change certain eligibility provisions of the medical assistance program;<\/li>\n<li>LB530, sponsored by Fullerton Sen. Annette Dubas, which would add, change and eliminate provisions relating to foster care reimbursements;<\/li>\n<li>LB543, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Ernie Chambers, which would change a penalty from death to life imprisonment or life imprisonment without possibility of parole;<\/li>\n<li>LB552, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Jeremy Nordquist, which would adopt the Cities of the First Class Firefighters Cash Balance Retirement Act;<\/li>\n<li>LB561, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Brad Ashford, which would state findings and intent for changes to the juvenile justice system and a funding mechanism;<\/li>\n<li>LB577, sponsored by Lincoln Sen. Kathy Campbell, which would change provisions relating to the medical assistance program;<\/li>\n<li>LB600, sponsored by Lexington Sen. John Wightman, which would change inheritance tax rates;<\/li>\n<li>LB619, sponsored by Malcolm Sen. Ken Haar, which would require instruction in sexual health education; and<\/li>\n<li>LB635, sponsored by Cortland Sen. Norm Wallman, which would provide powers and duties regarding hydraulic fracturing to the Nebraska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A complete <a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/search_by_date.php?SessionDay=2013\">list of introduced bills<\/a> is available at NebraskaLegislature.gov.<\/p>\n<p>Committee hearings are scheduled to continue through March.
