Beau McCoy, which would change balloting and vacancy provisions for presidential electors;<\/li>\n<li>LB171, sponsored by Hoskins Sen. Dave Bloomfield, which would provide for an expedited concealed handgun permit process for applicants who are victims of domestic violence;<\/li>\n<li>LB177, sponsored by Papillion Sen. Jim Smith, which would provide enforcement and penalty provisions to the Nebraska Wage Payment and Collection Act;<\/li>\n<li>LB179, sponsored by Papillion Sen. Bill Kintner, which would eliminate learning communities;<\/li>\n<li>LB180, sponsored by York Sen. Greg Adams, which would provide for the waiver of education-related fees for dependents of veterans;<\/li>\n<li>LB181, sponsored by Lincoln Sen. Bill Avery, which would prohibit motorcycle passengers less than eight years old;<\/li>\n<li>LB184, sponsored by Malcolm Sen. Ken Haar, which would appropriate funds for the Nebraska Wind Applications Center;<\/li>\n<li>LB186, sponsored by Imperial Sen. Mark Christensen, which would restrict rules and regulation authority of natural resources districts;<\/li>\n<li>LB188, sponsored by Wilber Sen. Russ Karpisek, which would provide for county board appointment of election commissioners; and<\/li>\n<li>LB193, sponsored by Omaha Sen. John Nelson, which would change funding for the Nebraska Cultural Preservation Endowment Fund.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A complete <a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/search_by_date.php?SessionDay=2013\">list of introduced bills<\/a> is available at NebraskaLegislature.gov.<\/p>\n<p>New bills may be introduced for the first 10 legislative days, or until Jan. 23.<\/p>\n<p>Gov. Dave Heineman\u2019s State of the State address is scheduled for Jan. 15.
