Scott Lautenbaugh, which would change provisions relating to homicide;<\/li>\n<li>LB118, sponsored by Scottsbluff Sen. John Harms, which would change texting enforcement provisions;<\/li>\n<li>LB127, sponsored by Lincoln Sen. Amanda McGill, which would provide for preregistration to vote for 16- and 17-year-olds;<\/li>\n<li>LB128, sponsored by Lincoln Sen. Colby Coash, which would create the offense of disarming a peace officer;<\/li>\n<li>LB130, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Heath Mello, which would eliminate Cash Reserve Fund transfers;<\/li>\n<li>LB132, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Jeremy Nordquist, which would adopt the Skin Cancer Prevent Act;<\/li>\n<li>LB141, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Steve Lathrop, which would change court procedures for the Nebraska Workers\u2019 Compensation Court;<\/li>\n<li>LB143, sponsored by Hoskins Sen. Dave Bloomfield, which would authorize schools to adopt a child sexual abuse policy as prescribed;<\/li>\n<li>LB152, sponsored by Fullerton Sen. Annette Dubas, which would change eminent domain negotiations; and<\/li>\n<li>LB147, sponsored by Grand Island Sen. Mike Gloor, which would adopt the Health Carrier External Review Act.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A complete list of introduced bills is available at <a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/search_by_date.php?SessionDay=2013\">NebraskaLegislature.gov<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>New bills may be introduced for the first 10 legislative days, or until Jan. 23.<\/p>\n<p>Gov. Dave Heineman\u2019s State of the State address is scheduled for Jan. 15. Committee hearings are scheduled to begin Jan. 22 and continue through March.<\/p>\n<p>The session will last 90 legislative days and tentatively is scheduled to adjourn June 5.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Senators reconvened Jan. 11 to continue bill introduction.
