Jeremy Nordquist, which would require insurance coverage of certain cancer treatments;<br \/>\n\u2022 <a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=15794\" target=\"_blank\">LB883<\/a>, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Tanya Cook, which would provide for contributions to the Nebraska educational savings plan trust from income tax refunds;<br \/>\n\u2022 <a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=15864\" target=\"_blank\">LB889<\/a>, sponsored by Lincoln Sen. Bill Avery, which would change provisions relating to rates, fares, and certificates of convenience and necessity for taxicabs;<br \/>\n\u2022 <a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=15750\" target=\"_blank\">LB895<\/a>, sponsored by Lincoln Sen. Amanda McGill, which would provide for teacher certification for military spouses;<br \/>\n\u2022 <a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=15232\" target=\"_blank\">LB901<\/a>, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Steve Lathrop, which would designate funds to be used for services for persons with developmental disabilities;<br \/>\n\u2022 <a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=15739\" target=\"_blank\">LB903<\/a>, sponsored by Bellevue Sen. Abbie Cornett, which would exempt youth sports from sales and use tax; and<br \/>\n\u2022 <a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=15757\" target=\"_blank\">LB909<\/a>, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Scott Lautenbaugh, which would provide an employer defense under the Nebraska Workers&#8217; Compensation Act.<\/p>\n<p>New bills may be introduced for the first 10 legislative days, or until Jan. 19.<\/p>\n<p>A complete list of <a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/search_by_date.php?SessionDay=2012-01-09\" target=\"_blank\">bills introduced Jan. 9<\/a> is available at NebraskaLegislature.gov.<\/p>\n<p>Gov. Dave Heineman\u2019s State of the State address is scheduled for Jan. 12.
