Beau Ballard<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Current law prohibits transportation network companies such as Uber and Lyft from using dynamic pricing statewide during any state of emergency declared by the governor.<\/p>\n<p>As amended on general file, LB771, sponsored by Lincoln Sen. Beau Ballard, would prohibit dynamic pricing for seven days after the governor declares a state of emergency.<\/p>\n<p>Senators voted to return the bill to select file to consider an amendment offered by Sen. John Fredrickson of Omaha.
