Lawmakers passed a bill May 28 that modifies or eliminates more than three dozen state-established entities.<\/p>\n

LB346, introduced by La Vista Sen. John Arch at the request of Gov. Jim Pillen, modifies or eliminates 40 boards, commissions, committees and councils.<\/p>\n

Among the entities eliminated under the measure are the:
\n\u2022 Nebraska Aquaculture Board;
\n\u2022 Breast and Cervical Cancer Advisory Committee;
\n\u2022 Climate Assessment Response Committee;
\n\u2022 Nebraska Child Abuse Prevention Fund Board;
\n\u2022 Children\u2019s Behavioral Health Task Force;
\n\u2022 Natural Gas Fuel Board; and
\n\u2022 Women\u2019s Health Initiative Advisory Council.<\/p>\n
