{"id":3352,"date":"2011-02-15T15:20:13","date_gmt":"2011-02-15T21:20:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/update.legislature.ne.gov\/?p=3352"},"modified":"2013-03-11T15:46:01","modified_gmt":"2013-03-11T21:46:01","slug":"additional-requirements-could-be-added-to-high-school-civics-courses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/update.legislature.ne.gov\/?p=3352","title":{"rendered":"Additional requirements could be added to high school civics courses"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Education Committee heard testimony Feb. 14 on a bill that would add requirements to high school civics education curricula.<\/p>\n<p>High school students currently are required to take civics courses in at least two grade levels.<\/p>\n<p>LB544, introduced by Boys Town Sen.
