Scott Lautenbaugh, which would change campaign statement and report filing provisions and repeal the Campaign Finance Limitation Act;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=11987\" target=\"_blank\">LB151<\/a>, sponsored by Omaha <a href=\"http:\/\/news.legislature.ne.gov\/dist12\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sen. Steve Lathrop<\/a>, which would change location, hearing and document provisions of the Nebraska Workers&#8217; Compensation Court;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=12272\" target=\"_blank\">LB156<\/a>, sponsored by Hastings <a href=\"http:\/\/news.legislature.ne.gov\/dist33\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sen. Dennis Utter<\/a>, which would change air pollution emission fee provisions;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=12512\" target=\"_blank\">LB161<\/a>, sponsored by Wilber <a href=\"http:\/\/news.legislature.ne.gov\/dist32\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sen. Russ Karpisek<\/a>, which would change provisions relating to recounting votes;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=12260\" target=\"_blank\">LB165<\/a>, sponsored by Valentine <a href=\"http:\/\/news.legislature.ne.gov\/dist43\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sen. Deb Fischer<\/a>, which would adopt the Nebraska Municipal Telecommunications Service Occupation Tax Act;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=12315\" target=\"_blank\">LB172<\/a>, sponsored by Lincoln <a href=\"http:\/\/news.legislature.ne.gov\/dist28\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sen. Bill Avery<\/a>, which would create the Commission on Indian and Multicultural Affairs and eliminate the Commission on Latino-Americans and the Commission on Indian Affairs;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=11721\" target=\"_blank\">LB177<\/a>, sponsored by Lincoln <a href=\"http:\/\/news.legislature.ne.gov\/dist25\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sen. Kathy Campbell<\/a>, which would change foster care provisions;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=11968\" target=\"_blank\">LB186<\/a>, sponsored by Cedar Rapids <a href=\"http:\/\/news.legislature.ne.gov\/dist41\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sen. Kate Sullivan<\/a>, which would require nonpartisan ballots for county officers;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=11679\" target=\"_blank\">LB192<\/a>, sponsored by Omaha <a href=\"http:\/\/news.legislature.ne.gov\/dist11\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sen. Brenda Council<\/a>, which would require school districts to offer instruction in sexual health education; and<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=12583\" target=\"_blank\">LB199<\/a>, sponsored by Fullerton <a href=\"http:\/\/news.legislature.ne.gov\/dist34\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sen. Annette Dubas<\/a>, which would require adequate financial support for foster parents to support foster children.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>New bills may be introduced for the first 10 legislative days, or until Jan. 19.<\/p>\n<p>A complete <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/search_by_date.php?SessionDay=2011-01-07\" target=\"_blank\">list of bills introduced Jan. 7<\/a> is available at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nebraskalegislature.gov\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\">NebraskaLegislature.gov<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Gov. Dave Heineman\u2019s State of the State address is scheduled for Jan. 13.
