Bruce Bostelman<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Currently, an applicant for a transporter plate must keep records associated with the transport of a motor vehicle or trailer for six years. LB699, introduced by Brainard Sen. Bruce Bostelman, would decrease this time period to three years.<\/p>\n<p>Bostelman said the original law was written to mirror the six-year retention requirement of the state Department of Motor Vehicles.
