Jim Smith, which would adopt the Nebraska Property Tax Cuts and Opportunities Act, change income tax rates and eliminate certain exemptions and credits;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=34233\">LB953<\/a>, sponsored by Thurston Sen. Joni Albrecht, which would change provisions relating to lump-sum settlements under the Nebraska Workers\u2019 Compensation Act;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=34542\">LB955<\/a>, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Bob Krist, which would provide for reciprocal certification of military police officers and law enforcement officers from other jurisdictions;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=34519\">LB958<\/a>, sponsored by Bayard Sen. Steve Erdman, which would provide for licensure of a vehicle as a massage therapy establishment;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=34566\">LB959<\/a>, sponsored by Gretna Sen. John Murante, which would provide requirements for returning a ballot for someone else and provide a penalty;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=34281\">LB964<\/a>, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Mike McDonnell, which would authorize mental health professionals to take a person into emergency protective custody under the Nebraska Mental Health Commitment Act;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=34606\">LB970<\/a>, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Justin Wayne, which would change marijuana penalties as prescribed;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=34348\">LB974<\/a>, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Tony Vargas, which would prohibit consideration of political affiliation, demographic information and previous election results in drawing legislative districts;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=34175\">LB975<\/a>, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Sara Howard, which would adopt the Redistrict Act; and<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=34546\">LB979<\/a>, sponsored by Bellevue Sen.
