Joni Craighead<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Gov. Pete Ricketts has announced that his office is accepting applications to fill the District 6 vacancy until Friday, Sept. 29. The application form can be found at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.governor.nebraska.gov\">www.Governor.Nebraska.gov<\/a>. Eligible applicants must have lived in the district for one full year, be registered to vote and be at least 21 years old.<\/p>\n<p>The appointee will serve until January 2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sen.
