Senators reconvened Jan. 13 to introduce new bills.<\/p>\n

Among the 76 bills introduced were:<\/p>\n

LB360<\/a>, sponsored by Seward Sen. Mark Kolterman, which would adopt the Surgical Technologist Registry Act;<\/p>\n

LB366<\/a>, sponsored by Hastings Sen. Steve Halloran, which would change and eliminate provisions relating to parole administration;<\/p>\n

LB368<\/a>, sponsored by Kearney Sen. John Lowe, which would change helmet provisions, change passenger age limits and require eye protection for operators of motorcycles and mopeds;<\/p>\n

LB390<\/a>, sponsored by Thurston Sen. Joni Albrecht, which would change provisions relating to flood protection and water quality enhancement bonds;<\/p>\n

LB394<\/a>, sponsored by Lincoln Sen. Adam Morfeld, which would change provisions relating to possession of a deadly weapon by a person subject to a domestic violence protection order;<\/p>\n

LB409<\/a>, sponsored by North Platte Sen. Mike Groene, which would change the base limitation and local effort rate for school districts;<\/p>\n

LB420<\/a>, sponsored by Omaha Sen. John McCollister, which would adopt the Fair Chance Hiring Act;<\/p>\n

LB424<\/a>, sponsored by Crete Sen. Laura Ebke, which would provide for earned time and discontinue use of good time in the state Department of Correctional Services;<\/p>\n

LB427<\/a>, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Tony Vargas, which would require breastfeeding accommodations for student-parents; and<\/p>\n

LB429<\/a>, sponsored by Lincoln Sen. Anna Wishart, which would provide for virtual net metering.<\/p>\n

New bills may be introduced for the first 10 legislative days, or until Jan. 18.<\/p>\n
