Senators reconvened Jan. 12 to introduce new bills.<\/p>\n

Among the 57 bills introduced were:<\/p>\n

LB300<\/a>, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Bob Krist, which would eliminate the statute of limitations on civil actions for sexual assault of a child;<\/p>\n

LB305<\/a>, sponsored by Bellevue Sen. Sue Crawford, which would adopt the Paid Family Medical Leave Insurance Act;<\/p>\n

LB311<\/a>, sponsored by Lincoln Sen. Adam Morfeld, which would eliminate an eligibility provision relating to nutrition assistance benefits as prescribed;<\/p>\n

LB313<\/a>, sponsored by Albion Sen. Tom Briese, which would change the sales tax rate and the earned income tax credit and provide property tax credits;<\/p>\n

LB319<\/a>, sponsored by Hastings Sen. Steve Halloran, which would provide for confidentiality of and access to certain injury reports under the Nebraska Workers\u2019 Compensation Act;<\/p>\n

LB321<\/a>, sponsored by Kearney Sen. John Lowe, which would change provisions relating to unlawful possession of a firearm at a school;<\/p>\n

LB338<\/a>, sponsored by Bancroft Sen. Lydia Brasch, which would adopt the Agricultural Valuation Fairness Act;<\/p>\n

LB342<\/a>, sponsored by Bayard Sen. Steve Erdman, which would adopt the Nurse Licensure Compact and provide for temporary nursing license for military spouses;<\/p>\n

LB343<\/a>, sponsored by Ralston Sen. Merv Riepe, which would change credentialing and regulation of cosmetology, nail technology, audiology, massage therapy and barbers;<\/p>\n

LB347<\/a>, sponsored by Lincoln Sen. Suzanne Geist, which would change provisions relating to school bus permits and qualifications; and<\/p>\n

LB354<\/a>, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Rick Kolowski, which would adopt the Wage Disclosure Act.<\/p>\n
