Senators reconvened Jan. 5 to begin introducing bills.<\/p>\n

Among the 101\u00a0bills introduced were:<\/p>\n

LB25<\/a>, sponsored by Gretna Sen. John Murante, which would change provisions for presidential electors;<\/p>\n

LB30<\/a>, sponsored by Seward Sen. Mark Kolterman, which would provide for a cash balance benefit plan by cities of the metropolitan and primary classes for certain police officers or firefighters as prescribed;<\/p>\n

LB42<\/a>, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Robert Hilkemann, which would change occupant protection system provisions for children and adopt certain federal safety provisions;<\/p>\n

LB50<\/a>, sponsored by Columbus Sen. Paul Schumacher, which would provide reporting duties relating to behavioral health entities;<\/p>\n

LB60<\/a>, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Brett Lindstrom, which would change Parenting Act provisions relating to limitation or denial of custody or access to a child;<\/p>\n

LB65<\/a>, sponsored by Lincoln Sen. Matt Hansen, which would provide income tax credits for caregivers;<\/p>\n

LB68<\/a>, sponsored by Lincoln Sen. Mike Hilgers, which would prohibit certain regulation of firearms, ammunition and firearm accessories by counties, cities and villages as prescribed;<\/p>\n

LB71<\/a>, sponsored by Lincoln Sen. Patty Pansing Brooks, which would change appropriations relating to the Nebraska Tree Recovery Program;<\/p>\n

LB74<\/a>, sponsored by Bellevue Sen. Sue Crawford, which would change population thresholds relating to annexation, suburban development and planned unit development by a city or village; and<\/p>\n

LB75<\/a>, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Justin Wayne, which would provide for restoration of voting rights upon completion of a felony sentence or probation of a felony.<\/p>\n
