Tyson Larson, which would provide for licensure of cigar shops;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=25135\">LB127<\/a>, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Ernie Chambers, which would eliminate provisions relating to hunting mountain lions;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=24972\">LB129<\/a>, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Burke Harr, which would require criminal background checks for applicants for an initial nursing license;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=24948\">LB132<\/a>, sponsored by Crete Sen. Laura Ebke, which would change joint public agency bonding powers and procedures;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=24960\">LB136<\/a>, sponsored by Wahoo Sen. Jerry Johnson, which would prohibit flying lanterns;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=25026\">LB142<\/a>, sponsored by Ogallala Sen. Ken Schilz, which would create the Aquatic Invasive Species Program and provide funding;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=24700\">LB148<\/a>, sponsored by Bellevue Sen. Sue Crawford, which would provide for medical assistance program coverage for certain youth formerly in foster care;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=24644\">LB153<\/a>, sponsored by Lincoln Sen. Adam Morfeld, which would exempt college textbooks from sales and use taxes; and<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=24378\">LR7CA<\/a>, sponsored by Columbus Sen. Paul Schumacher, a constitutional amendment that would limit service of members of the Legislature to two six-year terms.<\/p>\n<p>A complete list of bills introduced thus far is available at <a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/search_by_date.php?SessionDay=2015\">NebraskaLegislature.gov<\/a>. New bills may be introduced for the first 10 legislative days, or until Jan. 21.<\/p>\n<p>Gov. Pete Ricketts\u2019 State of the State Address is scheduled for Jan. 22.
