{"id":14626,"date":"2014-02-13T11:01:21","date_gmt":"2014-02-13T17:01:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/update.legislature.ne.gov\/?p=14626"},"modified":"2014-02-13T11:01:21","modified_gmt":"2014-02-13T17:01:21","slug":"automatic-advancement-for-write-in-candidates-passed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/update.legislature.ne.gov\/?p=14626","title":{"rendered":"Automatic advancement for write-in candidates passed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Senators passed a bill Feb. 13 that allows for automatic advancement in the case of a small pool of candidates for county office.<\/p>\n<p>If the number of county office candidates from each party in a primary election does not exceed the number of candidates that may be nominated by the party, those candidates automatically will advance to the general election under LB56, a bill introduced by O\u2019Neill Sen.
