Rick Kolowski, which would create the position of state school security director and provide duties;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=21975\">LB873<\/a>, sponsored by O\u2019Neill Sen. Tyson Larson, which would create a fund and appropriate and transfer funds for the Game and Parks Commission;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=22025\">LB876<\/a>, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Sara Howard, which would prohibit exclusions of coverage for injury or damage from carbon monoxide or other gas exposure;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=21893\">LB877<\/a>, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Burke Harr, which would change provisions relating to use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=21785\">LB879<\/a>, sponsored by Imperial Sen. Mark Christensen, which would provide for a permit to carry a concealed handgun in a school;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=21351\">LB881<\/a>, sponsored by Syracuse Sen. Dan Watermeier, which would change provisions relating to death, injury, or property damage to innocent third parties as a result;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=21797\">LB882<\/a>, sponsored by Malcolm Sen. Ken Haar, which would change duties of the Climate Assessment Response Committee;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=21586\">LB887<\/a>, sponsored by Lincoln Sen. Kathy Campbell, which would adopt the Wellness in Nebraska Act;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=21473\">LB888<\/a>, sponsored by Gretna Sen. John Murante, which would provide for changing the hours for sale of alcohol; and<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=21352\">LB890<\/a>, sponsored by Fullerton Sen. Annette Dubas, which would change provisions relating to procedures for acquiring private property for public use.<\/p>\n<p>A complete list of bills introduced thus far is available at <a href=\"http:\/\/nebraskalegislature.gov\/bills\/search_by_date.php?SessionDay=2014\">NebraskaLegislature.gov<\/a>. New bills may be introduced for the first 10 legislative days, or until Jan. 22.<\/p>\n<p>Gov. Dave Heineman\u2019s State of the State address is scheduled for Jan. 15.
