Scott Lautenbaugh, which would change provisions relating to sexual assault of a child in the second and third degree;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.legislature.ne.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=21861\">LB823<\/a>, sponsored by Lautenbaugh, which would terminate metropolitan utilities districts on Jan. 1, 2015;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.legislature.ne.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=21544\">LB826<\/a>, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Beau McCoy, which would provide for a study relating to education incentives for high-need occupations;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.legislature.ne.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=21886\">LB831<\/a>, sponsored by Imperial Sen. Mark Christensen, which would provide a requirement relating to coverage of medical equipment and prohibit unreasonable delays relating to preapproval of coverage;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.legislature.ne.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=21533\">LB832<\/a>, sponsored by Lautenbaugh, which would change provisions relating to reductions in sentence, change good-time provisions and provide for earned time;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.legislature.ne.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=21745\">LB834<\/a>, sponsored by Lincoln Sen. Bill Avery, which would change provisions relating to funding for school breakfast programs;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.legislature.ne.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=21909\">LB838<\/a>, sponsored by Cedar Rapids Sen. Kate Sullivan, which would change dates relating to certifications and distribution of state aid to schools;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.legislature.ne.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=21486\">LB846<\/a>, sponsored by Hyannis Sen. Al Davis, which would create the brand inspection service area for brand inspection fees and estray disposition;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.legislature.ne.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=21903\">LB857<\/a>, sponsored by Hoskins Sen. Dave Bloomfield, which would change application provisions under the Concealed Handgun Permit Act regarding members of the armed forces to include spouses of such members; and<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.legislature.ne.gov\/bills\/view_bill.php?DocumentID=21904\">LB859<\/a>, sponsored by Omaha Sen. Bob Krist, which would change provisions for onsite vaccinations at certain health care facilities.<\/p>\n<p>A complete list of bills introduced thus far is available at NebraskaLegislature.gov. New bills may be introduced for the first 10 legislative days, or until Jan. 22.<\/p>\n<p>Gov. Dave Heineman\u2019s State of the State address is scheduled for Jan. 15. Committee hearings are scheduled to begin Jan. 21 and continue through February.<\/p>\n<p>The session will last 60 legislative days and is tentatively scheduled to adjourn April 17.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Senators reconvened Jan. 13 to continue introducing bills.
