Shorter NRD notification approved

Natural resources districts can enforce actions more quickly under a bill passed by the Legislature Feb. 7.

LB513, introduced by Holdrege Sen. Tom Carlson, reduces from 10 to three the number of days required before a natural resources district can issue a cease and desist order.

Senators passed the bill on a 43-0 vote.
