Garrett appointed to represent District 3

Sen. Tommy Garrett of Bellevue was sworn in Dec. 11 to represent legislative district 3. He is the founder and president of Garrett Group, which specializes in defense contracting.

Garrett, a retired U.S. Air Force colonel, was appointed by the governor to replace Sen. Scott Price, who resigned in November.
